Telangana Governor Assures Full Implementation of Congress Manifesto
Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan stated that the new Congress Government, led by Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy, is dedicated to fulfilling every promise made in the party’s manifesto. Addressing the joint sitting of the State Legislature, she emphasized the commitment to implementing declarations for farmers, youth, and various sections of society.
The government plans to provide uninterrupted power supply to the agricultural sector, ensure minimum support prices for crops, and initiate a plan to waive farm loans up to Rs. 2 lakh. Additionally, a mega District Selection Committee will be conducted within six months to fill teaching positions, and steps are underway to address the state public Service Commission and fill two lakh vacancies within a year.
The government aims to launch an action plan for house sites and financial assistance for housing construction, replacing the Dharani portal with the Bhumata portal for transparent land-related solutions. A land commission will be established to protect government lands, and rights on distributed acres will be granted to the poor. The Governor emphasized the government’s commitment to justice, democracy, and development based on the aspirations of those involved in the separate statehood movement.
