Telangana Governor and Ministers Pay Tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on His 151st Birth Anniversary
On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s 151st birth anniversary, Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, along with state ministers Mahmood Ali and P. Sabita Indra Reddy, paid their respects to the Father of the Nation. Governor Soundararajan offered floral tributes at Bapu Ghat in Langer Houz, where Mahatma Gandhi’s ashes were immersed in the Musi river. She was accompanied by Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, Director General of Police Anjani Kumar, and other officials.
Home Minister Mahmood Ali, along with Education Minister P. Sabitha Indra Reddy, MP K. Keshav Rao, and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, also paid homage to Gandhi at Bapu Ghat, remembering his invaluable services and sacrifices for India’s independence and nation-building. Chief Minister Rao highlighted how Gandhi’s principles and actions aligned with the progress and development of Telangana state.
