Telangana Government on High Alert as Incessant Rains Continue
The Telangana government has taken swift action by putting the entire state administration on high alert as heavy rains continue to lash the region for the past couple of days. Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari informed that, in response to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s directions, the flood situation is under constant monitoring by senior officials, district collectors, and police superintendents.
To ensure prompt response in case of emergencies, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and Fire Service teams are on high readiness for rescue and relief measures. In the control room, three senior officials are appointed to oversee the situation continuously, while individual control rooms have been set up in all district collector offices. In strategic locations, NDRF teams have been stationed in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Hyderabad, Mulugu, and Warangal districts to address any potential calamities effectively.
