Telangana CM Urges New Police Recruits to Combat Ganja Menace

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy emphasized the importance of tackling the ganja menace while ceremoniously handing over appointment letters to 10 newly recruited police constables. Addressing the event for the induction of 15,750 recruits, Reddy urged the officers to prioritize eradicating drug trafficking, particularly the rampant issue of ganja addiction among the state’s youth.

He underscored the need for Telangana to serve as a model state in combating drug-related problems, emphasizing the importance of instilling fear in those involved in the drug trade. Reddy highlighted the establishment of the Telangana State Anti-Narcotics Bureau and the allocation of significant resources to address drug-related challenges as part of the government’s proactive measures.
