Telangana CM Pledges Cooperation with Andhra Pradesh and Criticizes Modi’s Leadership

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy emphasized his commitment to fostering amicable relations with Andhra Pradesh to address long-standing bifurcation issues. He highlighted the resolution of Hyderabad’s status through the AP Reorganisation Act 2014 and pledged to prioritize resolving remaining matters.

Criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Reddy demanded his resignation, citing the BJP’s significant seat reduction in the recent Lok Sabha elections and a decline in public trust. He noted the increased vote share of the INDI Alliance, reflecting a shift in public sentiment. Despite the Congress’s satisfactory performance in Telangana, Reddy acknowledged the need for more people-centric governance and took full responsibility for the party’s outcomes in the state.
