Telangana CM Accuses BRS of Undermining Caste Survey Integrity

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has vehemently accused members of the opposition Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) of attempting to sow seeds of doubt among the public regarding the Government’s commitment to conducting a comprehensive caste survey. Addressing the assembly, Revanth Reddy highlighted the exhaustive deliberations within the State Cabinet preceding the resolution’s introduction, emphasizing the survey’s importance for implementing targeted schemes benefiting backward classes.

He underscored the Government’s openness to constructive criticism from opposition parties while firmly denouncing the BRS’s motives. Reddy pointedly referenced the lack of transparency in a previous similar survey conducted under the BRS Government, insinuating its exploitation for political gain by a single family.
