In a sweeping electoral success, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is leading in most of the Assembly constituencies and the Nellore Lok Sabha seat, as per the 2024 Andhra Pradesh election results. TDP’s Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy is ahead by 36,809 votes in the Nellore MP race, while his wife, Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy, leads in Kovur.
Ponguru Narayana is gaining momentum in Nellore City, and incumbent Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy edges towards a third term in Nellore Rural. An intense contest in Sarvepalli sees TDP’s Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy narrowly leading. The sole YSRCP lead is in Atmakur, where Mekapati Vikram Reddy maintains a slim advantage.
