TDP MLCs and MLAs orchestrated a protest outside the Andhra Pradesh Legislature Complex in Velagapudi, Guntur district, accusing Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy of unfulfilled promises and governance failures. Displaying placards and shouting slogans, TDP State President K. Atchannaidu and other leaders criticized the government’s inability to secure Special Category Status, complete the Kadapa Steel Plant, finalize the Polavaram project, implement liquor prohibition, and release a job calendar.
The opposition leaders also alleged corruption against CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, demanding accountability. Despite attempts to enter the Legislature Complex, the police, deployed in large numbers, prevented their entry, leading to heated arguments.
