TDP and BJP Accuse TTD EO of Favoritism and Political Bias
Accusing TTD Executive Officer (EO) A.V. Dharma Reddy of abusing his power and showing favoritism towards leaders of the YSRCP, TDP national spokesman K. Pattabhi Ram and BJP leader G. Bhanu Prakash Reddy have urged the Chief Electoral Officer to take action against him. They allege that Reddy’s extended deputation with the Andhra Pradesh government, facilitated by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and his father Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, violates norms.
Additionally, they claim that Reddy solicited support from wealthy individuals for YSRCP leaders during elections, compromising the impartiality of his position. Moreover, they criticize Reddy’s continued tenure as EO of TTD despite the Model Code of Conduct’s stipulation for officer transfers after three years in their posts.
