Tamilnadu CM ready to inspect dredging works

Tamilnadu CM M.K.Stalin starts inspection on June 9th in Tiruchi and Thiruvavur. And also CM inspected the Mettur dam before opening for kuruvai paddy cultivation on June 12. Kuruvai cultivation takes place in 12 delta districts. Kuruvai will cultivate around 5.30 lakh acres while samba farming for around 8.90 lakh acre area. Mettur dam will receive 232 TMC during monsoon which is expected. Indian Meteorological Department (IDM) predicts that there will be above-normal rainfall in several areas, and there will be no changes in opening the Mettur dam on June 12.
