Tamil Nadu’s ‘Manarkeni’ App Promotes Conceptual Learning for Students

The Tamil Nadu School Education Department has introduced the ‘Manarkeni’ app to promote conceptual learning and critical thinking among students. The app offers videos in English and Tamil, covering concepts from the Tamil Nadu State Board syllabus across all classes.

These educational videos have been curated by the State Council for Educational Research and Training (SCERT). Accessible free of cost, the app aims to help students understand concepts better. Initially, it will provide videos for Class XII, focusing on their first-term lessons, along with content for Classes VI to XI.

Over the next six months, the department plans to expand the app’s offerings to include videos for primary classes. The ‘Manarkeni’ app, labeled as ‘TNSED Student,’ can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
