Under the Naan Mudhalvan Scheme, 25 students from Tamil Nadu have embarked on a week-long training program at Durham University, UK, focusing on data science and artificial intelligence. This initiative, part of the Scholars for Outstanding Undergraduate Talent in Tamil Nadu (SCOUT) program, is a collaboration between the British Council and Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation.
Selected from over 1,267 applicants, these students represent both engineering and arts and science disciplines. This educational tour marks the first of its kind, with future plans for similar international exposure trips to Singapore and faculty exchange programs with Australia.
