Swati Maliwal Threatens Legal Action Against Delhi Ministers Over Alleged Defamation

Swati Maliwal, AAP Rajya Sabha MP, has threatened to take Delhi government ministers to court for allegedly spreading false information about her. Maliwal refuted claims by AAP leaders that her assault complaint against Arvind Kejriwal’s aide, Bibhav Kumar, was motivated by BJP influence due to a corruption case against her.

She clarified that the FIR was filed in 2016 and deemed baseless by the High Court, which had stayed proceedings. Maliwal accused AAP of maligning her image and endangering her relatives by releasing their details. She emphasized that despite the smear campaign, she would pursue legal action for each falsehood propagated against her.
