Prime Minister Narendra Modi has articulated his vision for enhancing India’s comprehensive strategic partnership with the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.), underscoring the significant upswing in cooperation across diverse sectors over the past nine years. As he embarks on a two-day visit to the Gulf nation, PM Modi expresses eagerness to deepen ties with U.A.E. President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, focusing on bolstering trade, defence, energy security, and cultural exchanges.

Additionally, PM Modi highlights the historic visit to Abu Dhabi, where he will inaugurate the first Hindu stone temple, symbolizing the enduring values of harmony and peace shared between the two nations. This milestone temple represents a tangible testament to the strong people-to-people ties and the vibrant Indian community comprising over 8,00,000 individuals in Doha.

The visit also signifies India’s commitment to fostering dialogue and collaboration with regional partners, exemplified by the forthcoming meeting with Qatar’s Amir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. Through these engagements, PM Modi aims to advance a shared vision of prosperity, tolerance, and mutual respect, further cementing the bonds of friendship between India and the U.A.E.
