Storm in Arkansas Causes Damage and Power Outages
A severe storm struck parts of Arkansas, bringing heavy rain and hail, damaging homes and businesses, and leaving thousands without power. Experts suggested that the storm, which appeared to be a microburst, was fueled by the high heat and humidity in the area.
As of Wednesday night, approximately 18,000 customers were affected by power outages across the state, with Pulaski County being the hardest hit, with 13,062 customers without power, followed by Drew County with 3,624 outages.
