Stalking and Assault Case: Youth Booked in Goa for Harassing Girl Student

In Goa, a youth named Rohan Morje, aged 23, has been booked by the police for allegedly stalking and assaulting a 20-year-old girl student. The accused, a former student of the college where the victim is currently studying, initially developed a friendship with her but later began harassing her with physical assaults, including slaps, fist blows, and punches.

Additionally, Morje reportedly followed the complainant whenever she left her house and issued threats of dire consequences. The police have registered an offense under sections 323, 354-D, and 506 (ii) of the IPC, and further investigation is underway.
