Stabbing Incident Involving Woman and Male Friend

In a disturbing incident, a woman was subjected to multiple stab wounds by a male friend who subsequently turned the knife on himself, as reported by the police. Both the accused and the victim are currently receiving medical treatment at the state-run Medical College hospital. The woman, identified as Remya, resides in the state capital with her mother and grandmother and has been in a relationship with the man, Deepak, for some time.

On the fateful morning, Deepak met Remya outside her house, and after a brief conversation, she was seen fleeing towards her residence. Deepak pursued her, brandishing a knife, and inflicted several stab wounds. Bystanders rushed to her aid, and in response, Deepak directed the knife towards himself.

The police were alerted and swiftly transported both individuals to the hospital, with the woman in critical condition, while the man’s life was reportedly out of danger. An investigation has been initiated to determine the motive behind this disturbing act. Remya is employed as a saleswoman in a local supermarket.
