Speeding Car Crash Claims Three Lives on GST Road near Maduranthakam

A tragic accident occurred on Wednesday morning near Maduranthakam on GST Road, resulting in the loss of three lives. The incident involved a speeding car that veered out of control and plunged into a drain. Among the victims, two individuals were on their way to join duty at an Information Technology company in Chennai.

According to officials, Kathiravan was driving the vehicle, accompanied by Nandakumar and Karthick. The car’s sudden loss of control caused it to crash into a 20-foot-deep concrete drain beneath the National Highway. The impact led to the car’s complete destruction and claimed the lives of all three occupants on the spot.

The deceased were identified as Kathiravan from Dindigul, Nandakumar from Mannargudi, and Karthick from Tirunelveli. The Maduranthakam Police responded promptly, retrieving the bodies from the wreckage and sending them to the Government Hospital for post-mortem examination.
