South Korean Passenger Jet Evacuates Citizens From Israel Amid Conflict
A South Korean passenger jet is set to evacuate over 190 citizens from Israel due to the ongoing violence between Hamas militants and Israel. The Korean Air Co. flight, carrying 191 South Korean nationals, is expected to arrive at Incheon International Airport near Seoul. This evacuation marks the first flight transporting South Koreans back home since the conflict erupted on October 7.
Additionally, 27 South Korean tourists will cross into Jordan by land, while another 30 are expected to return home on a Turkish Airlines flight. Fortunately, there have been no reported casualties among South Korean nationals, and the government is actively facilitating their safe return.
