Vikram Goud, the son of former Congress minister Mukesh Goud, has resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), expressing disappointment over the lack of recognition within the party. The youth leader, who joined the BJP in 2020, cited a dearth of significant roles and responsibilities despite his active work on the ground.
Vikram Goud, also an entrepreneur and film producer, revealed that he aspired for a ticket from the Goshamahal Assembly constituency but was disappointed when the party gave the ticket to Raja Singh. Expressing dissatisfaction with the BJP’s vision and strategy at the state level, Vikram Goud is expected to return to the Congress party, where his father Mukesh Goud had been a prominent leader. Mukesh Goud passed away in 2019.
