Smriti Irani Vacates Official Residence After Electoral Defeat

Former Union Minister Smriti Irani has vacated her official bungalow at 28 Tughlak Crescent in Lutyens’ Delhi following her defeat in the recent Lok Sabha elections.

Irani, who previously served as the Women and Child Development Minister, moved out weeks after losing to Congress leader Kishori Lal Sharma in the Amethi parliamentary seat by a significant margin. According to officials, ex-ministers and MPs are required to vacate government accommodations within a month after elections conclude.
