Simultaneous Raids Conducted by Karnataka Lokayukta on Government Officers’ Residences and Offices
The Karnataka Lokayukta embarked on a major operation by conducting raids across 48 locations throughout the state, targeting the residences and offices of government officers. The raids, involving more than 200 officials, were carried out in cities including Bengaluru, Bidar, Kodagu, Chitradurga, and Davanagere.
In Bengaluru, the state capital, 10 locations were raided in connection with four FIRs lodged against officers. Among the locations searched was the residence of Additional SP of Kodagu, Nanjunde Gowda, where cash and documents were seized.
Other raids included the residence of Assistant Commissioner of Belagavi City Corporation Santhosh Anishettar, as well as the office and residence of Manjunath Bannikoppa, Manager of Nirmithi Centre in Koppal. The raids were aimed at uncovering potential irregularities and collecting evidence related to the allegations against these government officers.
