Significant Progress in Resolving CAA Protest Cases in Kerala
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan announced that out of the 835 cases registered against Citizenship (Amendment) Act protesters in Kerala, 629 cases have already been quashed by the courts.
Additionally, the government has agreed to withdraw 84 cases out of the remaining 206 under consideration. However, final decisions on withdrawal rest with the respective courts. Vijayan emphasized that only cases without settlement applications and those involving serious offenses will continue, with just one case currently under investigation.
