Sharmila Reddy Accuses Maternal Uncle of Poor Development in Kamalapuram

During her campaign in Kamalapuram, Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Y.S. Sharmila Reddy criticized her maternal uncle, MLA Pochimareddy Ravindranath Reddy, for alleged misgovernance and lack of development in the constituency. Sharmila accused the MLA of failing to fulfill promises of irrigation for 1 lakh acres through the GNSS project.

She also criticized her cousin, Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy, for not realizing the Kadapa Steel Plant project as originally conceived, and slammed Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for neglecting irrigation projects initiated by her father, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, under the ‘Jalayagnam’ scheme.
