In preparation for the upcoming Ayudha Puja festival, the State Express Transport Corporation (SETC) has announced the operation of express buses from Tambaram MEPZ and Poonamallee Bus Terminus. This service will help reduce the congestion at the Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M.G.R. Bus Terminus in Koyambedu. The buses will be running from Friday to Sunday.
Passengers can expect services to destinations like Tiruvannamalai, Vandavasi, Senji, Panruti, Vadalur, Chidambaram via Tindivanam from Tambaram MEPZ and routes to Vellore, Arani, Arcot, Thirupathur, Kancheepuram, Hosur, Tiruttani from Poonamallee Bus Terminus. The Koyambedu terminus will continue to operate services to Puducherry, Cuddalore, Chidambaram, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur, Velankanni, Tiruchi, Madurai, Tirunelveli, and other districts.
