Self-Baggage Drop Kiosks Revolutionize Check-In Process at Chennai Airport

Chennai airport is set to revolutionize the check-in process for domestic flyers with the installation of self-baggage drop kiosks, making serpentine queues a thing of the past.

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has introduced eight such kiosks in the T1 terminal, with plans for eight more in the T4 terminal in the near future. Initially synchronized with IndiGo, these kiosks streamline the check-in process, allowing passengers to drop their baggage after a web check-in, significantly reducing wait times. With assistance from airline staff, this innovative facility promises to enhance passenger convenience and efficiency.
