Russian Tourist Found Dead in Uttarkashi Hot Spring

Tatiana, a 45-year-old Russian tourist, was discovered dead in a hot water spring at Gangnani in Uttarkashi on November 24, 2024. Locals alerted the police after finding her body floating in the spring the morning after she went for a bath.

The postmortem confirmed she died of a heart attack, and efforts are underway to repatriate her body to Russia. Tatiana, who was described by her friends as spiritual and inclined to meditate or take nighttime strolls, had been visiting India with two companions.
