Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat lauded the consecration of Ram Lalla’s idol at the Ayodhya temple on January 22 as a courageous feat, attributing it to the blessings and desire of God. Speaking at the Gita Bhakti Amrit Mahotsav in Alandi, Maharashtra, Bhagwat expressed his fortune at witnessing the event.
He emphasized the significance of Bharat (India) rising to fulfill its duty, warning of potential global destruction if it fails to become capable (samarth). Bhagwat underscored the urgency of Bharat’s resurgence, stating that intellectuals worldwide recognize the critical nature of the situation. The Gita Bhakti Amrit Mahotsav commemorates the 75th birth anniversary of spiritual leader Shri Govind Dev Giriji Maharaj.
