Rs 1.30 Crore Cash Seized from Washing Machines in Andhra Pradesh

Police in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, seized Rs 1.30 crore in cash hidden inside washing machines during a vehicle check near the Visakhapatnam Airport. The cash was found inside six washing machines along with 30 mobile phones in an auto-rickshaw trolley.

The vehicle belonged to an electronics shop, and the individual transporting the cash and goods claimed they were related to Dussehra sales. However, as he couldn’t produce invoices and other relevant documents, the police confiscated the cash and items, registering a case under Sections 41 and 102 of the Criminal Procedure Code for further investigation.
