RPG Attack Targeting Punjab Police HQ Originally Planned for Slain Rapper Sidhu Moosewala
Top sources in the Delhi Police have revealed that an RPG attack targeting the Punjab Police’s Intelligence Headquarters in Mohali in October 2022 was initially intended to assassinate singer and rapper Sidhu Moosewala, who was tragically shot dead in May 2022. Per sources, Khalistani terrorist Harwinder Singh Sandhu, alias Rinda, supplied the RPG for this purpose, but the plan was altered to avoid higher casualties during a public gathering or event. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi disclosed this information during his interrogation.
The RPG was smuggled into India through the Pakistan border, implicating the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Rinda had enlisted members of Bishnoi’s gang to carry out the operation, with Canada-based fugitive terrorist Lakhbir Singh Landa collaborating and sharing resources. The RPG attack in Mohali was revealed as a conspiracy orchestrated by Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) with ISI support and local gangster involvement.
The attackers were apprehended months later, with Rinda identified as the mastermind. Punjab Police successfully arrested the main accused, Charat Singh, in a joint operation with central agencies, shedding light on the complex network behind the attack. Landa, originally from Punjab, had relocated to Canada in 2017 due to police pressure.
