Rohit Sharma Becomes Second Fastest Player to Score 10,000 ODI Runs for India

Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma has achieved another remarkable milestone, becoming the second-fastest batsman in the world and the sixth Indian cricketer to amass 10,000 runs in One-Day Internationals (ODIs). He reached this feat during India’s match against Sri Lanka at the R. Premadasa Stadium. Sharma, known for his explosive batting style, is the 15th player overall to reach this milestone.

He joins the elite company of Indian openers Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly, who have also crossed the 10,000-run mark in ODIs. Sharma’s achievement highlights his incredible consistency and prowess in the limited-overs format, where he has notched 30 centuries, 50 half-centuries, and even scored two double-hundreds, boasting an impressive ODI batting average of nearly 49.
