In a tragic incident, the general manager of Sandarshini Elite Restaurant in Hyderabad, Devender Gayan (35), was shot dead by unidentified individuals. The incident occurred in Madinaguda under the Miyapur Police Station limits. Gayan was returning home from work on Wednesday night when unknown persons on a bike opened fire, resulting in critical injuries.
The police reported that the assailant escaped after firing six rounds from a country-made weapon. Originally from Kolkata, the victim’s murder is suspected to be linked to an old rivalry, and a special police team has been formed to identify and apprehend the attackers. The investigation is underway, and authorities are reviewing CCTV footage to gather more information.
