Rajnath Singh Challenges Congress Over CPI(M) Nuclear Disarmament Proposal
Senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh has raised concerns regarding the CPI(M)’s pledge to dismantle India’s nuclear weapons, labeling it as a threat to national security and accusing the Left and Congress of conspiring to weaken the country. Singh emphasized India’s hard-earned status as a nuclear power and warned against compromising its strategic defense capabilities, particularly in the face of nuclear-armed neighbors like Pakistan and China.
Asserting that opposition to Lord Ram leads to political downfall, Singh criticized both Congress and CPI(M) for allegedly hindering Ram Navami celebrations and accused them of disregarding India’s cultural heritage. While expressing confidence in BJP’s electoral prospects in Kerala, Singh underscored the party’s commitment to national security and consistency in both rhetoric and action, contrasting it with what he perceived as a divergence between the words and deeds of Congress and Communist parties.
