Railway Disruption in Bhadravathi: Trains Delayed Due to Track Damage
Disruption struck railway operations in Bhadravathi as a passing truck collided with a safety guard, causing damage to the tracks around 4:15 a.m. Consequently, the Janshatabdi Express (12090) and Mysuru–Talaguppa Express (16227) faced delays, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded for nearly two hours.
Railway staff swiftly restored the tracks to ensure smooth train movement, but the Janshatabdi Express departed from Shivamogga station at 6:48 a.m., instead of the scheduled time of 5:15 a.m. Similarly, the Mysuru-Talaguppa Express encountered a delay, departing from Bhadravathi station at 6:12 a.m., significantly behind schedule. Despite the inconvenience, railway authorities worked diligently to rectify the situation, completing the track restoration by 6 a.m.
