The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, led by Rahul Gandhi, is set to resume on January 28 from Jalpaiguri in West Bengal after a pre-planned break of 12 continuous days. Jairam Ramesh, Congress General Secretary, announced the yatra’s resumption, detailing the upcoming padyatra in Jalpaiguri, followed by a similar event in Siliguri, along with a public address.
The yatra, covering over 6,700 km from Manipur to Mumbai, encountered challenges in obtaining permission for public meetings in some locations, as stated by West Bengal Congress President Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury. The ruling Trinamool Congress suggested administrative decisions were unrelated to political influences.
