Rahul Gandhi Urges PM Modi for Parliamentary Debate on NEET Issues

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has called for a focused and respectful discussion in Parliament regarding the alleged irregularities in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam. On June 28, amidst uproar in the House demanding a discussion on NEET, the Lok Sabha was adjourned till noon. Opposition members sought an adjournment motion to address concerns related to NEET, emphasizing its significance for the country’s youth.

Rahul Gandhi stressed that NEET remains a critical issue affecting students nationwide, urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to facilitate a comprehensive parliamentary debate on the matter. The NEET-UG exam, conducted by the NTA in May, saw participation from approximately 24 lakh candidates, but subsequent allegations of question paper leaks and other irregularities prompted widespread scrutiny.
