During his ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ in Chhattisgarh’s Korba district, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on the BJP-led Centre, accusing it of failing to provide employment opportunities and exacerbating inflation woes for the common people. Gandhi urged the public to wake up to the reality of their diminishing financial prospects, alleging that their pockets were being robbed while they were being misled by the government.
He highlighted the stark disparity in wealth distribution, pointing out that marginalized communities constituted a significant portion of the population yet remained excluded from top corporate echelons. Gandhi criticized the government’s focus on promoting big businesses over addressing the needs of the majority, citing the absence of representation from ordinary citizens at events like the Ram Mandir inauguration.
He accused prominent industrialists like Adani and Ambani of benefiting from the sale of Chinese goods while ordinary people struggled to find employment and grappled with rising prices, branding it as economic injustice.
