Congress leader Rahul Gandhi strongly criticized the BJP’s politics during the ongoing no-confidence motion discussion in the Lok Sabha. Referring to his recent visit to Manipur, Gandhi accused the BJP of “murdering India in Manipur” and claimed that the party’s actions have divided and broken the state.
He asserted that the BJP’s politics has caused harm to the nation and criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not visiting Manipur. Gandhi shared stories of two women he met during his visit, highlighting the suffering caused by the state’s division.
He stated that while he visited Manipur to engage with the people, the Prime Minister had not done so. Gandhi recounted a conversation with a woman who lost her son to violence and emphasized the emotional impact of the conflict. He accused the BJP of being responsible for the divisive situation in Manipur.
