Priyanka Gandhi Expresses Concern Over Gaza Casualties

Amidst the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict in Gaza, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra voiced her deep concern over the loss of nearly 7,000 lives, including 3,000 innocent children, in the conflict. In a post in Hindi, she questioned the state of humanity, highlighting the widespread violations of international laws and the erosion of dignity and rules in this prolonged conflict.

The conflict, which entered its 21st day following a surprise attack by Hamas members on Israel, has seen a devastating toll, with Hamas’s initial attack causing the death of at least 1,400 people on October 7. Since then, Gaza’s health ministry reports that more than 7,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israel’s retaliatory bombardments. Priyanka Gandhi’s remarks underline the urgent need for international attention to bring an end to this protracted conflict and protect the lives of civilians caught in the crossfire.
