Political Turmoil in Karnataka Over Arrest of Kar Sevak: BJP Leader Slams Chief Minister Siddaramaiah

In Karnataka, Leader of the Opposition (LoP) R. Ashoka criticized Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for arresting Kar Sevak Srikanth Poojari, claiming that Lord Sri Ram would not forgive the Chief Minister for falsely accusing Poojari of 16 cases. Ashoka argued that 15 of the cases against Poojari had seen logical conclusions, and Siddaramaiah’s statements were either a result of losing control of his administration or a deliberate attempt to provoke Hindu activists during the Ram Mandir inauguration.

Ashoka demanded Siddaramaiah’s resignation, urging him to admit mistakes, release Poojari, apologize, and step down. The Chief Minister countered, asserting that Poojari used religion to shield criminal activities, emphasizing that the arrest was not against the government but against the law and constitution.
