Police Arrest Trio Involved in Robbery and Seize Knives and Stolen Goods

The Salavakkam police have successfully apprehended three individuals involved in a robbery near Porpandal village, Kancheepuram. The incident involved the waylaying and robbery of a couple. Prakash, along with his wife and children, was returning from a family function when they were attacked by three robbers on a two-wheeler.

Gold chains and cash were stolen from the family at knifepoint. Prakash swiftly reported the incident to the Salavakkam Police, who launched a patrol and apprehended two individuals riding a two-wheeler within their jurisdiction. These two suspects led the police to the third accomplice. Upon further investigation, the police were astonished to discover over 25 knives, gold jewelry, silver articles, and two-wheelers at the suspects’ residence.
