PM Modi to Address UNGA High-Level Session Amid Global Agenda
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address the high-level session of the U.N. General Assembly on September 26, as per the provisional list of speakers issued by the U.N. Scheduled during the 79th session of the U.N. General Assembly from September 24-30, the General Debate will see leaders deliberating on critical topics including global cooperation, sustainability, and future-oriented initiatives.
Modi’s upcoming address follows his previous participation in the UNGA session in September 2021 and his visit to the U.N. headquarters for the Yoga Day commemoration last year. The session will also include a Summit of the Future aimed at forging new global consensus on contemporary challenges and future prospects.
