“PM Modi Says ‘Dreams into Reality’ on 10 Years of Mudra Scheme”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Mudra Scheme, calling it a platform that has turned dreams into reality for millions of people. Launched in 2015, the scheme aimed to provide easy access to financial support for small businesses and entrepreneurs across India, especially those in rural areas.

PM Modi highlighted how the Mudra Scheme has played a crucial role in empowering people, particularly women and underprivileged groups. He emphasized that the scheme has made it easier for small businesses to get loans without the need for collateral, helping them grow and create jobs. He shared that millions of people, who once struggled to get financial assistance, are now running successful businesses and contributing to the country’s economy.

The scheme offers three types of loans – Shishu, Kishore, and Tarun – based on the needs and stages of business growth. Shishu loans are for new businesses and startups, while Kishore and Tarun loans are for those looking to expand or grow their existing ventures. Over the years, these loans have helped countless small enterprises, ranging from street vendors to larger family-run businesses, to grow and become more sustainable.

PM Modi also pointed out that the Mudra Scheme has been particularly beneficial for women entrepreneurs. With easy access to funding, many women have started their own businesses, gained financial independence, and contributed to their communities. The scheme has thus played a key role in promoting gender equality in business.

The Prime Minister praised the success of the Mudra Scheme, saying it has been a major step towards building an inclusive economy. He believes that by supporting small businesses, India is creating more job opportunities and promoting entrepreneurship, especially in remote areas.

Looking ahead, PM Modi expressed confidence that the Mudra Scheme would continue to support the growth of small businesses and help people achieve their dreams. He also promised that the government would keep working to improve the financial ecosystem to ensure that everyone has a chance to succeed. The 10th anniversary marks not just the success of the scheme but also the bright future of India’s small businesses.
