Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked a significant milestone in India’s path towards sustainable development by inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for multiple power, renewable energy, railway, and road infrastructure projects in Telangana, collectively worth over Rs 56,000 crore. Among these projects, the dedication of Unit 2 (800 MW) of NTPC’s Telangana Super Thermal Power Project and the electrification of the Ambari-Adilabad-Pimpalkhuti rail line stand out.
These initiatives, leveraging ultra-supercritical technology, promise to enhance power supply, ensure 24×7 availability of affordable electricity, and improve rail connectivity in the region. PM Modi emphasized that these developments will accelerate Telangana’s growth trajectory, stimulate the economy, and create numerous employment opportunities.
The collaborative efforts between the Central and State governments, highlighted by Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s participation, underscore the commitment to holistic development and cooperation at all levels.
