Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Jodhpur, Rajasthan, and unveiled multiple development projects valued at approximately Rs 5,000 crore in various sectors, including road, rail, aviation, health, and higher education. He laid the foundation stone for a new airport terminal, inaugurated the ‘Trauma, Emergency and Critical Care’ facility at Jodhpur AIIMS, and opened a library, hostel, and mess at Rajasthan Central University, along with a phase of IIT Jodhpur.
During his visit, PM Modi emphasized the importance of making Rajasthan, which represents India’s glorious past, a symbol of the country’s future development. He highlighted the need for railway and road infrastructure development and underlined his commitment to improving railway stations to benefit the poor.
The Prime Minister also flagged off two new train services, which are expected to boost the local economy and tourism sector while promoting Jodhpur as an education hub.
