PM Modi Encourages Students in Pariksha Pe Charcha, Emphasizes Healthy Competition
During the annual “Pariksha Pe Charcha” program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered advice to students, urging them to compete with themselves rather than others. He cautioned parents against treating their child’s report card as their visiting card and stressed the importance of healthy competition. The prime minister identified three types of stress on students – induced by peer pressure, parents, and self-imposed.
He suggested setting small goals during preparation to gradually improve performance and emphasized the innovative capabilities of today’s students. The seventh episode of this engagement program, organized by the Ministry of Education, aimed to provide guidance and encouragement to students ahead of exams.
The event was held in a town hall format with the participation of students, parents, and teachers. Over 2.26 crore registrations on the MyGov portal highlighted widespread enthusiasm among students for the program.
