PM Modi Announces Reduction in LPG Cylinder Prices on International Women’s Day

Marking International Women’s Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared a notable reduction of ₹100 in the prices of LPG gas cylinders, offering substantial relief to households nationwide. Additionally, the government extended the ₹300 per LPG cylinder subsidy for poor women under the Ujjwala Yojana into the next fiscal year, benefitting millions of families and costing the government ₹12,000 crore.
