Physically Challenged Woman Killed by Speeding Truck in Delhi; Accused Apprehended

A tragic incident unfolded in Delhi as a 39-year-old physically challenged woman lost her life after being struck by a speeding truck near Shamshan Ghat, Geeta Colony. The incident was reported to the police, prompting a swift response. The victim, seen crossing the road in a sitting posture, was declared brought dead upon arrival at SDN hospital.

Through an extensive hunt across the city and scrutiny of CCTV footage, the police identified a green dumper belonging to Gowar Construction Company as the probable vehicle involved. The truck driver, Firoz, a resident of Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, was apprehended and confessed to the accident during interrogation. The investigation revealed discrepancies in the truck’s appearance, leading to the driver’s identification and arrest.
