People in high position should shun insensitive comments: Mamata
Apparently targeting Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar”s comment about Kashmiri girls, his West Bengal counterpart Mamata Banerjee on Saturday dubbed it “insensitive” and “hurtful” for the entire nation.
In a post on her twitter handle, Banerjee said, “We, and more so people holding high public office, must restrain ourselves from making insensitive comments about the beloved people of Jammu and Kashmir. These are hurtful, not only for J&K, but the entire nation.”
