Pavement and Ranjit Road are used by people with differently abled is damaged
In an unfortunate incident, a portion of Ranjit Road in Chennai, along with a specially designed pavement for people with disabilities, has been dug up by Tangedco. The Corporation has stated that the restoration of the pavement is pending as they are awaiting a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the power utility.
However, the good news is that the repair of the road has been sanctioned and is expected to be carried out within the next 20 days. This action is aimed at addressing the inconvenience caused to pedestrians and ensuring the accessibility and safety of the road for all users.
The authorities are working to expedite the process and restore both the pavement and the road as soon as possible.
